Delete your HeyMate account

You can request deletion of your HeyMate account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the email address linked to your HeyMate account to support@getheymate.com.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my HeyMate account”.
3. Include your HeyMate nickname and confirm that you want the account and associated data deleted.
4. We may ask you to complete an account ownership check before processing the request.

Data that will be deleted or anonymized

• Account and profile information, including email, nickname, avatar, and profile details.
• Saved location and preference information.
• Partner activities, circles, moments, comments, and uploaded media where deletion is permitted.
• Follow, favorite, like, block, notification, and membership relationships.
• Device push tokens and active login sessions.

Delete selected data without deleting your account

You can delete your own partner activities, circles, moments, comments, and uploaded media from the corresponding content page in the HeyMate app. You may also email support@getheymate.com from your account email to request deletion of specific personal data while keeping your account active.

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited records when required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, audit, content moderation, or protection of users and the platform. Retained records are restricted to these purposes and removed or anonymized when the applicable retention period ends.

Processing time

We will acknowledge the request and process verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law.
